Once participants complete the online consent form, an automated email will be sent with the link that will include a link to purchase the blood work. This message will also provide the exact dates, or time frame you have to complete the blood work.
*Please note you must complete the blood work (the Age Management Panel and the Omega-3 Index) within two months of the consent date.
Please be advised that the laboratory testing required to participate in the Longitudinal Study is only available in the continental United States. Due to state laboratory testing restrictions, individuals residing in PA and MD will NOT meet the requirements to participate in the study. Restrictions apply in NY, NJ, RI, and MA. For questions regarding the restricted states (NY, NJ, RI, and MA), please call Life Extension for assistance at +1-800-678-8989.
Completing the Age Management Panel
Once you have purchased the blood work, Life Extension will email you a requisition form to complete the blood draw at a LabCorp station nearest you. LabCorp accepts walk-ins and they also schedule blood draw appointments. Once you receive your requisition form, you may go to LabCorp to complete the blood draw by appointment or by walk-in. Please bring the requisition form and a photo ID to complete the blood draw. Life Extension will email you your results when they are ready, typically in 1-3 days.
Completing the Omega-3 Index
Life Extension will send you a kit to your home address that will include a finger prick test. Please complete the test and place the kit back in the mail with the packaging provided. Life Extension will email you your results when they are ready, typically in 1-3 weeks.
